Global online betting and gaming brand Betway announced in Toronto that Rogers's proposed National Bank Open has been added to its global tennis sponsorship portfolio to become the tournament's official betting partner.

The 2023 ATP Masters 1000 tournament will take place at SoFi Stadium from Aug. 5-13, with the final on the 10,800-strong Centre Court inside the tennis complex.

The brand agreed to a multi-year deal with high court-side visibility for eight days on the back wall around the Sobies Stadium complex.

Since 1881, the best players in the world have shown their skills on Canadian courts and have an impressive list of past champions, including legendary names such as Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendle, John McEnroe, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.

Carlos Alcaraz, the new Wimbledon champion and world No. 1, will play for the first time in Toronto and will play his opening game on Wednesday night, Aug. 9.
